Loading …I’m getting a disturbing number of visitors to this blog looking for cheats for Travian. For those of you who don’t know who travian is read all about it here and sign up!
I’m currently playing on Server 1 and have been doing so for many….many months. The great thing about travian (in my opinion) is the fact you can log in and spend a few minutes looking after your villages, without the need to constantly check back and micromanage your villages. As you progress and grow larger you will inevitably spend more time managing your villages, planning and instigating attacks and raids…….and of course defending your own from harm! There seems to be an initial period when you join a server where you can become raiding fodder for larger players…..and many players loose interest at this stage. The solution is to get into an alliance that can protect you, and repay them when you grow stronger due to their support.
At the moment we are in what the masses refer to as “The End Game”. Basically the developers of travian wrap up the server by releasing several “Wonder Villages”. It’s the goal of each alliance to seize a wonder city and build a wonder of the world to level 100. First to 100 wins….simple! Or so you would think! On my server there was a major “incident”, which serves to highlight the horrible lengths some people will go to in order to win (well not really win….cheat).
A collection of players managed to hack the travian account of our wonder village. They then sent all our defending troops home and had arranged attacks to arrive just as the troops left. It was ruthlessly executed but ultimately lead to them being banned from the server once the admin(s) realized what they had done. I must take my hat off too them for their resourcefulness and planning, but their skills could probably be better utilized by Mosad or the CIA.
I never understood cheating in computer games, as this is completely different from cheating in school exams! If you don’t finish a game it’s not like you don’t gain entrance to college. Games are designed to be immersive exciting experiences, and when you cheat the fun just completely evaporates. The sense of challenge and danger are no more….because you are now a cheating swine……who will die alone in a giant pair of incontinence pants 
I agree, when somebody just simply cheat, they just have to mess up for everyone. They think they can go things by cheating or hacting, but they are wrong, life or game will not go like that . I hope the things you say will transform them from their evil ways.
So cheating at high school exams is ok, but cheating in games is bad…

I think that travian is the hardest game ever. People who buy things on travian plus are total cheats
Can’t really agree with you there Doug. While I agree the Travian “gold” system now is becoming more and more commercial, purchasing the plus account makes perfect sense.
The Plus account (it’s 2 dollars!) allows you to queue builds, which saves time logging in and out etc. So you spend less time managing your villages, and get more out of them.
Travian are no doubt hoping that the 25% bonus to production and attack will be used more and more, which could lead to the big meta alliances trying to buy victory. This would be a shame….I feel a blog post coming on!
I think that having a travian plus account is a big mistake cause it would lead to all the Lords allinces to buying their way to victory !

I think what is really unfair is that once your out of protection, it is complete luck if you land in a village of peaceful villages or people with 4000 population !! once, on server 3 i was just out of protection and this faggot with unlimited troops killed all my dudes and stole all my stuffs !! it has happened about 1000000 times now !! every time i get resources to build stuffs he just comes and takes em away !! I would like to see a rule that said if you have a population of over 70 than another player, you cannot attack him !! Eventually i had to quit after i had NO resources, NO troops, NO NOTHING !!!! HALP !!!!
I know how you feel. I was lucky so far on this server. However I had friends who started beside very aggressive players…and they ended up quitting as a result….which is a pitty as they never got to experience the huge battles and the fun of the end game.
I find that getting into a strong active alliance as early as possible is the key to survival. The larger members of the alliance should help the smaller guys until they can support themselves.

yeah i hate it when people cheat on games they may still get a kick or two out of it but it ruins the fun for everybody else. the closest thing to cheating on travian that I use is that instant build thing on travian plus and I only use the gold you start out with so I can get my village up fast
i tottaly dont agree the systems all wacked and if u do have 4000 your basicly scrude because the survers do enything to try to ban u
I agree, cheating takes the fun out of a game. I can make an exception for people cheating in a single-player game, if they are just trying to get a few more kicks out of it, but cheating in a multiplayer game is just pathetic.
On a side note, which server was this? .com? .co.uk?

It was the GF META alliance that hacked our account. We were told by GF that the people responsible were kicked. But based on the poll on this blog it looks like 53% of the server should have been kicked
i have had to quit so many time cause its so hard to keep going i get enough stuff to get an army the a guy kills everything then its stuffed!
jakeman95, I think the luck of the draw has a lot to do with the early stages of the game. If there are no aggressive players near you, you can generally thrive.
I found that even when attacked by much bigger players, organizing a group defense and knocking out a big offensive army usually deters most raiders!

Have searched for cheats online, there seem to be a lot of sites that basically admit that cheats are hard to come by. So basically you spend 20 minutes going through sites like http://traviancheatsfreedownload.info , and its like Wow, great, no real cheats, just advice on strategy. People are frustrated because some seem to exploit them through hacking or whatever, but bona fide cheats don’t seem readily available. -CT
i want cheats i want cheats, i think that cheats should be aloud as they make the game far more intense and exiting……
and also all noobs who land next to me will be demolished and captured if possible, simple, i want to live that stay away from me, i have a pop of 10 000 and i stole my mate at schools account details and took all his resources lol arrh good times lol.. so yer if there is any cheats than i wana know

i think that the game is cool and all but the game takes a long time to build and you have to wait. The plus people get a lot more and it is unfair how lucky they are.

I use Travian Gold, but I only use it as it allows me to queue stuff etc. I don’t rush production using gold, as I believe this will only encourage people to throw gold at the game to win the end game!
Well, Travian gold is provided by the company to purchase. I don’t see how using what is provided as a cheat.
What it does encourage is people to throw money into the game to be the biggest and baddest I guess.
I assume the folks at Travian want to make money, so this isn’t a bad thing for them really. They want competition that costs their players hundreds of dollars to ‘win’ at a video game.
If you can’t understand this, or feel cheated because you don’t have $100′s to spend, not much I can do for you, as it is obvious Travian isn’t your cup of tea.
i play ukx, cheats are stupid, why are ppl so obsesed about their little virtual troops starving of little virtual wheat? i mean yea their little virtual kids will ask little virtual mummy why little virtual daddy isnt comeing home but still its a game ppl! a GAME not real life!
You may have sitters while you are still active.
You may have a dual account, meaning that multiple people share the same account. This is okay as long as none of those people have or play another account on the same server.
Unless your playing as a team its pointless to play the game the top players are all teams
The advantage of spending real world money ends up pointless unless you plan to spend hundreds of dollars as the others playing as a team does not run out of their advantage

cheeting is bad? sence when? pepole make rules then brake them, that is life. cheeting in school to go to colage is bad, hell your making your self out to be smarter than you are. but cheeting in a game and in life give you the power over all the ones that cheeted in school.
i “cheet” thrue life, i more call it minipulation than cheeting but what ever works, go with it. so someone gets but hert over it not being fair, thay shuld have not cheeted in school and lurned something so thay could do it too.

As harmful as it is to use cheats and find a short-cut to every and all solutions, it is just as worse as following every law and bloody trail made by our elders. Some games are meant to have cheats, codes, shortcuts; easier ways to find the goal. Some games… well, the enjoyment comes from defeating the game with moral victory. As the world needs light and dark, games need cheats and moral achievements.
Do you really think cheating isn’t rampant in Travian? I was playing on Server 7. In the first month there are players raking in over 1 million (MILLION, yes) resources in raids. Come on! I don’t care how big and bad you are, there are not that many resources left uncrannied or unguarded to raid. I made a living off dopes and newbiew in my 21 x 21, but really…1 million. There is something more than a little fishy going down in Travian. I left the game after realizing that cheating at Travian is a high art, and the Multihunter obviously has no clue.

Until multi-accounting cheating is effectively ended this game will be infested by cheaters… but wow! That gold-advantage “cheat” has already ruined all the balance of the game. So, don’t worry. There is a choice of priorities:
1. To earn money from the players;
2. To make a game for the honorable players.
The developers chose point 1 so far. There are no gold-free servers.
This is the game for cheaters. Good bye.
I’m loving it ! Server is five months in and I’m ranked 185. I have 8 villages and allot of troops. I’ve gotten very good with the straragy of this game and quickly worked my way to an offensive rank of 15 server wide. I got pretty lucky, I make a small alliance in the beginning and eventually we folded into a bigger alliance. I’m now wing leader for one of 6 wings who rule over the server … But now the server has nothing much to offer in terms of a challenge.
travain ..only game for the cheats like kaboom , sxsw, sxswt, wau & nxnw all those alliance r using there own forums to beat the system they all cheaters thats how they grow so fast

Danski, I played in KABOOM and WAU and for a week NxNW. We don’t cheat. It is not against the rules to use an external forum. KABOOM had an external forum, but changed to a Skype chatroom to make chat instant. External forums are fine, much better than the small, internal forum Travian offers.
The comment on growing fast is mearly something caused by great skill and effort. George, ranked 1, was a one man account. He is by far the best travian player I’ve met and he was certainly no cheat. He chiefed lots and used his Town Halls to the best advantage. I advise you to browse the Travian forums and read guides on how to play travian like a professional
Hey, guys it’s obvious that there is tons of cheating going on here. Sadly, i myself have tried to find cheats. But I think that Travian should abolish the Travian Plus. It gives an unfair advantage, but of course we’re all money hungry these days.
Is anyone on Servers 2, 3x, 5, or 8? This is Yunggrillz. If there are any newbies here to Travian, settle in the south west, pick the Teutons as your tribe, and i’ll try and keep you out of harm’s way.
