Space Marines got hit bad with DC…

I only noticed when I tried with Marines on a skirmish… Quickstart is no longer 10,000 requisition it’s 4000 Req and 10000 Power…. what a gyp! This is so F**king stupid….quickstart is meant to be oodles of resources purely for big armies, although games are shorter but still. Quickstart is called quickstart for a reason…. it sucks.

You can’t build as many Power stations… I was limited to 6. I think 10 was the limit after HQ 2 upgrade. ???

Only allowed 1 squad of Assault Termies
” ” 1 squad of Standard Termies
” ” 1 squad of Grey Knights

Oh yeah…Orbital Relay can only load 2 Dreads. Only 4(was 6) squad spaces or 2(was 3) Dread spaces…. (4 grey bars instead of 6)

The force commander looks different, and different voice too…I miss the old guy!!!

Apothecaries no longer uncover hidden units(unsure?) and buildings (Definitely not)

HQs now cost 950 req as opposed to 700 req. So if you build 2 Hqs at start you WON’T afford a machine cult till much later

I came under attack at the strat point in KL, and was building max squads of marines, I ran out of money and couldn’t afford the second HQ ungrade, so it took about 5 extra minutes just to get my orbital. I had about 2 listening posts built, and that was it, I couldn’t afford another for about those 5 minutes.

If you wait that long online you’re brown bread…. these changes radically change the game/tactics that we know… we’ll have to reform our strategies! I think we need to train up in the other races…. I dunno how much Chaos has been r*ped!!

All in all I think they slowed down QS games by 5 - 10 minutes! They also really crippled Space Marines’ might by the cuts…

At a glance… I think Tau & Necrons are the way forward… Although, I think Eldar and Chaos may have become stronger relative to Marines weakening…. I’m no expert on Eldar or Chaos but I think this DC upgrade is putting every race on a level par…. since, we’ve seen that some uber players are marines all the time…
